Yes, there should be standards. I'm from the old school where young men wore a suit and tie, and young ladies wore a modest dress and shoes to church. The explosion of mega-churches where every congregant is another "love offering" to the pastor and no one is admonished or turned away for immoral activities leads to a continued breakdown of our society. Bring back a dress code to church.
You are right that why go to a Black Fundamental baptist church.
